After seeing Rita's lovely and inspiring collage of her finished projects, I thought I'd do the same and display my finished projects for the year ...
Not nearly as impressive as hers. I'd like to pretend that's because I don't have photos for quite all my projects, but neither does she, so I'll just have to face the music - she's a much cooler crafter than I am! Also heaps more productive. Ah, but anyways, it's OK. I can live with it ;-).
Wow. This is more than I thought I made. And, you know, come to think of it, I finished up [including the binding!] three quilts this year [though many thanks to my mom for doing almost all the quilting!], and finished up the tops for two more. That takes a lot of time, I comfort myself in thinking. I also realize I made a butt load of skirts [three not pictured]. Oh yes, and I made a butt load of cloth napkins [about twenty not pictured]. Excellent for the environment, not always so for my patience.
Anyways! I get the feeling I may not be able to craft as much this coming year but I can't wait to try out new ideas and projects. It's fun to watch your own style develop. My goal for this year is to make less for myself and more for others. And I've got tons of ideas floating around my brain ...
