Banishment of Selfish Crafting (part 1)

Oh wow. According to the archives, I have made exactly THREE things for other people in 2010. That's pretty shameful. (I have nothing against selfish crafting in principle.)

So ... to start to make up for that, and to try to maintain some form of discipline around a functional wardrobe ... would anybody be interested in the Beignet skirt I made? I intended to cut out a size 6 (you can see the sizes here) although I think it would fit up to 41" hips and a 30" waist with enough ease to wear comfortably. In the spirit of full disclosure, this is not a high-waisted skirt as the pattern was initially drafted, because I modified it to hit at the smallest part of the waist. Also, the snap I used at the very top is a little bit loose - so its totally wearable, but some might prefer to put in a hook-and-bar to secure it more tightly.

If you're interested, leave a comment and let me know! And if more than one person happens to be interested, I'll do the usual random drawing thing. Since I'm trying to climb out of a clothing rut, tell me what you'd pair it with :-), I'm always looking for inspiration! Heck, even if it's not your size, tell me what you'd pair it with anyways. Self-Stitched September is coming up, I can use as many good ideas as possible! [And hey, if you're doing SSS, maybe you can count this as a handmade-by-others-but-still-handmade].

Sadly, not my size... But I'd pair it with a powder pink, slightly lacy cami. :-)

If it is still available, I could wear the skirt. =) Need to freshen up my work wardrobe and this would be just the ticket!

Hmmm, what would I wear it with? I'd honestly be boring and wear it with white or blue. But the adventurous gal who lives inside me would wear it with anything -- Aldara's pink, maybe yellow ...
