Day 7.
Handmade/refashioned skirt, handmade scarf. I realize the color of saffron in the scarf and the lines of orange in the socks are not exactly a monochromatic orange color scheme, but eh.
Day 8.
Handmade sweater [my first ever!], handmade/refashioned skirt, thrifted blouse. I pulled out some pink striped knee socks for this after the photoshoot. I still love this sweater, it's my go-to 'it's cold and I have nothing to wear' sweater. It pills kinda crazily but still fits really well and I think it will stay in a prized spot in the closet for several years to come! Oh, handmade.
Day 9.
Handmade scarf, thrifted sweater, Taiwan blouse, China skirt. I put tights on after this photo shoot. It's 54F right now. 54!!! In May!!! What the heck. I have to say, I think I'm going to frog the scarf and reknit it. It's too long and skinny that I never wear it in a way that shows off the fabulous colors, and that needs to change. And who knows? Maybe I can trick myself into thinking that it's really all about the process so that I won't go buy that beautiful purple/brown variegated yarn I spotted on Etsy the other night ...
