A bag for Neha

Now that the bag has been safely mailed and received, I feel OK sharing it:

Modified Pleated Handbag from Bend the Rules Sewing, with a Wise..Craft fabric flower to finish it off. The flower is detachable, but I just thought the bag needed a little something extra. I modified the dimensions of the bag and added decorative topstitching with embroidery thread to match the polka dotted interior.


Plus pocket. 2, actually - I sewed up the middle of that to create a little cell phone pocket and slightly larger one for other doodads that get lost in the bottom of a purse. There is at least one more of these in my future, as my mom has put in a request ...
