I love figs. Every late summer/early fall when they start coming into stores, I find myself buying a basket or two and just indulging. It sounds strange to eat them with brie, but there's something oddly addictive about the combination. Teapot and cup handpainted by my aunt.

Interesting! I bought a couple of figs the other day and cooked them with duck, but I think I overdid it as they didn't taste of anything... :(

Yum, figs! The best I've ever eaten were on holiday in Italy (the very best of these were straight from the tree), somehow the ones in Germany never taste as sweet...
