And a navy pea coat sounds perfect. :)
I'm so impressed how far you're getting with your book! I have a hell of a time keeping my attention on anything for such a long time. I'd love to read your work someday!
(Over here, we're close to getting out another collection of short stories from my literature circle, since we're having our 50th meeting shortly - we did manage to have the last one printed for Christmas. ;) But having a dayjob is totally crimping my time and inspiration for writing...)Alessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16605755512224178329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36079172.post-19576804373530647242014-03-30T12:04:17.582-04:002014-03-30T12:04:17.582-04:00The colours in your quilt are gorgeous! The colours in your quilt are gorgeous!Jodi Wadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02870868377104504738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36079172.post-24156772984195096122014-03-25T14:14:23.331-04:002014-03-25T14:14:23.331-04:00Thank you Anon, what a lovely comment!

And that's encouraging to hear that pants sew up quickly, I think the fly has me intimidated :-P. But maybe unnecessarily so!

Roo - YES, happy blues they are! I love that. The mitts are not on Ravelry yet (I've lagged on photographing my FOs), but they are the Perianth pattern from Twist Collective. Some people have even converted the pattern into a cardigan ... YUM ...

Debbie - Yeay for navy pea coats! They are such a staple. Hope things are going well for you :-).jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14891339427334605978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36079172.post-65629398979380632962014-03-25T09:51:07.320-04:002014-03-25T09:51:07.320-04:00I love the coat...navy pea coats are such a favour...I love the coat...navy pea coats are such a favourite of mine. You've got the happy blues going on there :)
LOVE the coat - I think that would be much harder to make than trousers (you can't make me call them pants). Ooh and those two-colour mitts will have to be stalked on Rav! And I can't tell you how much in awe I am of anyone who can write a whole actual BOOK!
You go Glen Coco! ;)Roobeedoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02395340950409421904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36079172.post-67999315747242570752014-03-24T18:43:15.000-04:002014-03-24T18:43:15.000-04:00What a satisfying update on your life and projects...What a satisfying update on your life and projects! I've got to say that your wonderful peacoat looks way more complicated than pants. You may have to make more muslins to fit pants but they sew up very quickly. Your draft-reading retreat sounds like a wonderful treat.Crab and Beehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13392731276180198699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36079172.post-83075214609766687102014-03-24T18:26:09.202-04:002014-03-24T18:26:09.202-04:00Nice to hear from you again.
